Cellulite Diet
Modifying your eating habits is essential to help reduce cellulite. A balanced
cellulite diet consists of carbohydrates, protein and essential fatty acids.
Breaking your meals down into smaller portions and consuming 5-6 meals a day
instead of 3 large meals is a great way to keep your metabolism running.
There are several considerations that should be adhered to when creating your
cellulite diet. First and foremost is to understand that the body's digestive
process is very important. A good rule of thumb is to consume two carbohydrate
meals and four protein meals on a daily basis. The protein meals should be
mixed with essential fatty acids. Do not mix carbohydrates and protein together
and do not consume carbohydrates late at night.
The meals should be spaced about 3 hours apart.
Protein meals should be accompanies by green salads or green vegetables such
as beans or broccoli. Good sources of carbohydrates include oats with skim
milk or freshly cut fruit.
Avoid foods that consist of hydrogenated fats such as margarine. Use butter
instead. Butter contains natural cholesterol and cholesterol metabolizing
nutrients. Margarine does not.
Drink plenty of water and take a multivitamin supplement. A well balanced
cellulite diet, when used together with exercise is a great way to reduce
cellulite.
